"To Be Infinite" got an amazing review from The Mass Media. It's on the Reviews page.

Added a cover of Nick Drake's "Fly" to the audio player at the top of this page. This was recorded live in 2006 while practicing for a Nick Drake Tribute show. From the same session is a big symphonic cover of "Horn" which might or might not get added in the future.

Just Posted: 3 YouTube videos from the 2007 Headphone Festival. There's Iris, The Aftermath (instrumental), and an untitled drone piece. Many thanks to mtrucco for doing it. The setting is pretty sterile, but the sound is really good. I'm still getting settled into Portland. It'll be a couple months before I can start making music again. I feel like doing something a little different but who knows.

Thanks to all who came to the Vibraphone Launch Party. It was a wonderful show to go out on. Now it's time to pack for Portland and Guatemala. In a couple months after things settle down I'll be back with another update.

Changes are coming. I'm moving to Portland in late-October so the Vibraphone Records Launch Party on Oct. 18th will be my last show in SF for a long time. Please come out and celebrate! This will also be a CD release show. This is my first official CD release and will consist of a handful of earlier recordings as well as one brand new track.

There's a video posted for an untitled new song at the media page. This live footage was shot by Grant Kennell at the Make Out Room. Enjoy!

I've also added a new song to the player at the top of this page and the media page. For now it's called "Untitled 2". Recorded live at the Make Out Room, it's a droney, experimental piece and this was the 1st time played. Someday it'll have a real title.

It's been awhile so here's a little update. I'm part of a new label called Vibraphone Records. It's just in the beginning stages, but has big plans for the future. The roster also includes Astral, Tomihira, and Foxtail Somersault. Now that's good company. I'm currently mastering some tracks with Dean from Tomihira. It'll come out on Vibraphone when it's complete. Maybe this fall??

The only show on the horizon is June 11 with friends Levator (from Seattle) and Six Eye Columbia at the Make Out Room. Yes, it's a Monday night but please come!

Just found out about this review from Skinny Magazine.

I've taken the podcasting plunge and have been included in a few shows already: The Next Big Thing, Illumination Audio, Green Dragon, Unharshed Mellow, Seattle and Beyond, and Notes From the Underground (notable for an amusing discussion after "Close Your Eyes" that leads to the movie "Altered States").

You don't need an Ipod to listen. Most sites offer a normal mp3 download of the shows.

I'm finishing some newly recorded demos that are sounding great. They'll be available in a week or 2.

I created a website called Cool Waves. It was born out of frustration of trying to get booked at SF Bay area clubs with decent, compatible bands. The idea is to start a community that'll benefit everyone involved. The address is http://www.coolwavessf.com.
